• Asharqia Young Businessmen Council’s delegation concludes its trip to Riyadh with three stations that are highlighting the importance of upgrading investment ideas

    A delegation of Asharqia businessmen Council concluded their visit to Riyadh on Tuesday 18 December 2018 with three new stations.

    The first was visiting the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority, the second is in the Center of Government Communication, and the third is at Elm Company that is specialized in electronic products, technical solutions and government support.

     

    The delegation received in its first stop the Deputy Governor of the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority for the Development of Entrepreneurship Environment, Essam Al-Zukair.

    Asharqia businessmen Council, headed by Eng. Abdullah Al-Breikan, presented a detailed presentation on the role of the Council and its objectives, in addition to its programs and activities, and reviewed the most outstanding achievements for the current year.

     

    The meeting discussed the importance of the young businessmen sector in the economic process in the Kingdom.

    It pointed to the need to change ideas in order to suit the change in the world,

    The attendees also spoke about the importance of the organization in organizing the young businessmen sector, and to provide specific initiatives that aimed at its development and to promote it to prospects that allow them to innovate and think in modern ways and commensurate with the situation of the local market and make it match the global markets.

     

    At the second station, the Director of the Center of Government Communication, Dr. Abdullah Al-Mughlouth, met with the delegation.

    They reviewed the great role played by the Center in providing sound information and measuring impact, in addition to providing important data, especially in the economic aspect through which the business sector can build their plans and business on a reliable basis.

     

    The meeting discussed the most important challenges faced by young businessmen sector in the Kingdom especially in light of the current economic conditions in the world.

    He stressed the strength of the Saudi economy.

    He praised the support of the wise leadership represented by the distinguished initiatives that provided to the sector, as not to be affected and help it be strong amidst any crises you may encounter.

     

    At his last stop, the delegation met with the Director of the bold investment department at Elm Information Security, Salem Washili, as they discussed the importance of addressing the issue of bold investment in forums, so as to form a great awareness of the target groups.

    They stressed that young entrepreneurs need this diversity of initiatives, which can benefit from them at the start of the project and start-up, or continued business.

    The meeting reviewed the contribution of the company through the investment opportunities offered to the business sector through projects offered by the sector.

     

    During the three-day trip, the delegation visited various stations, where they met officials from the Saudi Press Agency, the General Authority of Customs, The Industrial Fund, the Shura Council, and Young Businessmen Council in Riyadh Chamber.

     

     

    On this, the Chairman of the Council, Abdullah Al-Breikan, said that the meeting of Asharqia Young Businessmen Council came up with many distinctive ideas.

     The experiences of the hosts also provided a lot of learned lessons, which will form a list of the distinctive programs that will be part of the Council's plan for the coming year 2019.

    Al-Breikan pointed to the Council's interest in transferring these experiences and lessons to the business community in the Eastern Province.

    He stressed that the local market always needs to renew, which does not come to friction with the experiences of others. ​

    Al-Breikan pointed out to the young businessmen and the huge potential they possess.

    They are the source of the future industry, based on the support and encouragement of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Highness the Crown Prince that stimulates the energies of young people in various fields and facilitates their entry into the national economy and contributes strongly to the development efforts within the vision of 2030.

     He said, "It is imperative for us to emphasize our presence in its programs and initiatives and to be an active figure in achieving its objectives."

     

    Al-Breikan said that Asharqia Young Businessmen Council with its growing role in the development of the future entrepreneurs of the people of the region work to monitor their experiences and ideas and embody them in investment projects with added value in the national economy.

    Over the past years, the Board has made many achievements in serving the young businessmen sector by enriching their economic knowledge and increasing their skills in self-employment, in the framework of the expansion of its various programs, which are attended by wide presence among the youth businessmen sector in the region.​​
